The TRF7970AEVM read distance for 14443 A/B standard is not that great, it is short of the EMVco specification compliance.
Does anyone know if the DLP7970AABP offers a better read distance than the TRF7970AEVM?

the TRF79xxA devices (like every other 200mW transceiver IC out there) do not on their own generate the complete operating volume required by EMVCo, nor do they have a large enough onboard antenna for that application use case. This application requires an amplifier and at least a 4cm x 4cm antenna (or larger, up to 6cm x 6cm) which we have an unreleased examples of.
