RF430FRL153H SD14 module current consumption

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RF430FRL153H

Hi,

I would like to know what the current consumption of the SD14 module of the RF430FRL153H is, or what the total current consumption is in LPM3 with SD14 module actively converting. I could not find this data in the datasheet. I would like to measure the internal temperature with the SD14.

Thank you and best regards,

Andras

  • LPM3 current is 12uA typ, 20uA max @0C (see the datasheet)
    SD14 running at 1kHz: typ 15uA max 22uA
These are datasheet numbers. If we needed to test out a chip we could, however usually its best to have the max values which means test a lot of them.

Keep in mind that the internal temperature sensor needs to be calibrated to find true temperature. The slope is given in the datasheet, however the offset is not.
  • Hi Alexander,

    thanks for your swift reply!

    Best regards,
    Andras
