Connection to TRF7970AEVM and RF430FRL152HEVM

And how i can update firmware TRF7970AEVM?

The code in the RF430FRL152HEVM should be either the default project or the SensorHub one.  The EVM is shipped with the SensorHub project.

Are you selecting a port, like COM1?  Also does the TRF7970AEVM works with the "TRF7970 EVM Control" GUI?  If it does work with the control GUI (check the software section on this page: http://www.ti.com/tool/TRF7970AEVM )

Also regarding the switches please make sure that S6 is set to "Battery" side if you are using it without USB power.

To update the TRF7970AEVM you need to use the MSP-FET tool. Please reference this post :

I believe the last image shows how to make the connection to the TRF7970AEVM with a MSP-FET tool.

I have the same problem. I can read the RF430FRL152HEVM with the "TRF7970 EVM Control" GUI, but the RF430FRL15XH GUI Interface does nothing if I press connect. There is no Field to select COM port either. The switches are set as shown in the GUI. I use it without the Sensor Hub BoosterPack as I received from TI.

Make sure that you do not have the" TRF7970 EVM Control" GUI closed before you try to connect to the RF430FRL152HEVM so you do not have conflicts on the COM port.

The RF430FRL152H GUI Interface has a drop down box on the left most side of the status bar to select the COM port.
