The TI-document SLOA199.pdf (July 2014) describes the eZ430-TRF7970A UART Module Reference Design. It has an on-board PCB antenna and a connector for an external antenna (cfr. UFL1 in Figure 18: eZ430-TRF7970A Module Layout).
If I want to use an external antenna:
- where do I disconnect the on-board antenna and additionally,
- are there any tuning resistors and capacitors to be removed and, if so,
- which ones?
