NFC TRF7970a Reader -Interrupt error

Hello Sir,

We are working on MSP430F2370 micro controller with TRF7970a reader.

We are getting a error message through UART as "Interrupt Error" without any Tags tapped on Antenna.

Controller is simply sending this error message repeatedly.

Can any one please explain what might the reason for this issue?

Does the antenna pick up any noise and making this issue?

    Hi Sanath,

    It sounds like you are using the TRF7970AEVM, is this correct?

    If so, yes, it is possible that a noisy environment could trigger that, but I can't say that's the case for sure. The firmware base for that part is a bit dated as well.

    Depending on your application, there may be better hardware and software platforms to work with to begin with. Let me know what you are trying to evaluate/achieve with NFC/RFID and I can recommend other modules you can try out?
