SmartRf Studio device control panel Command Line arguments

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530

Hi all,

I tried running the SmartRf Studio device control panel using the command prompt and it gave me that following message:

Missing arguments:

-ebName <e.g. SmartRF05EB> -rfName <e.g. CC2530> -did <device id>

I know what to put on rfName and device id. But when it comes to the ebName, I don't know what to put since I'm using CC Debugger. I always get evaluation board unconnected error when I use the name "CC Debugger".

Anyone knows what are the exact requirements for this?

Can I start the TX process using this command line? If yes, how?

Any other command line that I can use to automate SmartRF Studio?

I hope you can help me with this.

Thanks, Jvi

  • Hi Jvi,

You can't start any TX process by starting the Device Control Panel from the command prompt.

I think what you are looking for is covered by the "script module". See the description of the "PERL Extension Module" in the help documentation.
