Hello Everybody,

i need your help. I try to flash my SensorTag with the Flash Programmer. But the Programm dont find any debugger.

I already try to update the firmware, but there i got the error: "cant find device".

Can you please help me and say what i am doing wrong?

You are using Flash Programmer _2_, right?

What's your debugger to program CC2650 SensorTag?

We buy the SensorTag DevPack: here : www.ti.com/.../devPacks.html

And we see that the FlashProgrammer find the device. And we see in the device manager the debug debug device.

We download the newest flash programmer 1.7.4 ( you called flash programmer 2) You see the uploaded screenshot?

never see this problem before you post. Try to replace an USB cable and check again. By the way, please don't connect your CC2650 to CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER when you connect CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER to your desktop.

Hello Everybody,

thank you for your help.

We try it with other usb cable-> without success

we try it without the cc2650, only the debugger-> without success

What can we do to solve this problem? Something check? Some Registry values? I dont know.

Run out of idea. Everything looks OK but it just doesn't work. Can you find another desktop and test it again?

Yes of course, we try it and it works on all other computer, but not on this one.

I want to provide only some hex files to him, and he should be able to flash them on the c2650.

We reinstall the flashprogrammer and this dont help.

We can try to install the IAR Workbench, but it seems to be a driver problem and i think that iar will not be able to flash the code.

thats sounds bad.

I suspect this might be related to Windows Language. Is it possible that you can try to set system language to English and try again?

Hello again,

at the moment the other computer is set to German language. My Computer ist set to the same language and everything is working fine.

Any other ideas?

From your screenshot, Srfprog 1.7.4 detects the XDS110 serial port, but not the debug port.
In your Windows Device Manager: What is listed in the "Ports (COM & LPT)" view?

It looks your windows recognizes XDS110 correctly. What does it show on Flash Programmer 2?

There is only XDS110 Class Application/UART (COMXX).

We found a solution:

We try every USB Port on our Notebook. We try to use a USB Hub. And we found one!!!! Only the USB Ports from the Docking Station working for flash the TI.

How is it possible?

I think it might be related to the power provided by USB port of your notebook is not strong enough.
