Hi, customer is having some questions on using 433MHz low power wireless. Could you please comment on this?

1. Apparently in order to meet FCC requirements you cannot transmit data more than every 10 seconds, we need to transmit data every 1 second.

2. 2. Apparently you cannot use 433 mhz when you are near a military airport to close to the harbor

The rules are that a minimum of 10 seconds between transmissions.

And yes, many millitary radar systems use 433 MHz, and so there are regulations against being too near them (40 km).

Thanks Chris. Does 915MHz have that kind of limitation?

From my reading of the FCC requirements it doesn't look to be the case at 915 MHz. A lot of older cordless phones operate on these frequencies so that would suggest they are a lot less restrictive.
