RF430FRL152HEVM: Command format from Android

The RF430FRL152H does not use NDEF format and has an 8 byte memory structure by default. These usually give most smart phone apps problems because they either try and read only NDEF information, or (less often) some apps don't read out the raw data either.

Even if the app reads out the raw data, you would need to be able to know what the data received is, and then take those numbers and run calculations to get a temperature as described here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless_connectivity/nfc_rfid/f/667/p/561976/2058297#2058297

Are you trying to read info beyond temperature/GSR? I just tried the app with the RF430FRL152HEVM with both my Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S7 and I am able to read out temperature and GSR values with them.

I will note that the Galaxy S3 has a pretty poor NFC antenna, so it's more challenging to get the RF430FRL152HEVM positioned in a manner that the phone will actually read data from it. Perhaps that's part of the issue. I'd turn sound on so you can hear the sounds of NFC communication being attempted to help locate the right spot to hold the devices together to allow for data transfer.
