Is Linux driver/software is available for people to use RF4CE RemoTI-CC2530 kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REMOTI, CC2530, CC2531

Hi, is the Linux driver or software is availale to support the RemoTI-CC2530 RF3CE kit?

Thanks.

  • The RemoTI RF4CE protocol stack is only built by the IAR compiler, and from their website, it does not look like it runs on a Linux box:

To install and run the IAR Embedded Workbench, you need the following:

If you want to write a sample application for the RemoTI stack on Linux, you would load the pre-built RNP sample application into a CC2530 or CC2531 and communicate via UART or USB (which implements a CDC and mounts as a virtual COM port using standard Linux drivers.)

    • Internet Explorer 7 or higher
    • At least 1 Gbyte of RAM, and 2 Gbytes of free disk space.
    • Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the product documentation
