I'm having some problems with my dev kit... I can't get the kit to perform the proprogramed link test properly...
The two LEDs on the SmartRF CC1110 board do not come on after reset of the board when re-adding the power selection jumper and running the pre-programmed link test. I have reset the board multiple times, and ensured that a button was pressed in order to discharge the large capacitor ( as suggested in the user guide). Now on my two boards, instead of behaving as they should, on one board the green LED remains on constantly, and on the other the green LED flashes- staying on for approx 0.5 sec, then switching off for the same length of time. Although it has been through other patterns of flashing. The red light has never lit up on either board. If someone could suggest anything that would be really helpfull thanks
P.s. - I have also now tried loading the simpliciti sample applications to the board - following the instructions in the simpliciti sample application guide (using IAR) and programming using this method I have been able to change the behaviour of the board, but not produce behaviour as the documentation would suggest. example - running the AP as data hub: the board set up as the data hub LED do not switch on at any stage. The End device board's light flashes when power is connected- However if the AP is not present the rate at which it flashes is approximately half as fast as when the AP is connected.
