It is very very simple question!!
How mach RF performance difference is in gold plating PCB antenna pattern and Pb/Sn Plating?
I do not request exact numeric answer level but experience based personal answer level.
I should explain to my boss why PCB antenna pattern should be changed from Pb/Sn plating to gold plating for second PCB antenna pattern.
My 1'st copy of TRF7970A EVM is plated with Pb/Sn instead of glod.
I had brought TRF970A EVM, TRF7970ATB as samples for NFC development and knew these were gold plated.
But I could not insist TRF7970A EVM cope must be gold plating
without RF performance difference knowledge between them and limited 1'st PCB time schedule.
Ps/Sn plated TRF7970A EVM RF performance was small better then TRF7970ATB
RF performance on peer-to-peer communication case.
My TRF7970A EVM copy is same as TRF7970A EVM but MCU is changed
from MSP430F2370 to MSP430F5529 for peer-to-peer communication source code size accepting condition.
