CC1111

Hello,  I have a question related of the use of the CC1111 instead of CC1110.

I have read the documents and datahseets of CC1110/CC111. I have read that CC1110 and CC1111 can work in low-power applications operating in the 315/433/868/915MHz. But in practice it seems that this is true only in CC1110 and this is false in CC1111. It seems that CC1111 can work only in low-power applicaitons operating in 868MHz.

I need create a low-power wireless applications operating in the 433Mhz and I would like to use the CC1111 SoC because this has a full-speed USB controller. It is possible?

Thanks

  • Dear BTM,

Yes, it is possible by replacing Crystal Circuit  of 26MHz by 48MHz and capacitors to 22pF (x2,C214 and C203 with reference to CC11 USB Dongle ckt. Schematic).

and keep RF cicruit  as it is as CC1110EM 433MHz Design circuit.

               Thanks.
