TRF7970A: TRF7970AEVM no more available: is there any equivalent that is NFC reader specific?

Hello,

I am looking for a NFC reader equivalent to that of TRF7970A which is programmed to have a continuous modulated signal. Is there any equivalent available for NFC application?

Hi Ralph,

Since TI has stopped manufacturing TRF7970A , which one do you think I can use as an equivalent? Could you suggest any?

Uhhh... what? Where in the world did you hear we are not manufacturing the TRF7970A??

Perhaps this is a misunderstanding if I read your thread title right... The TRF7970AEVM is an Evaluation Module, not the device itself! It was the first EVM made and was incredibly out-of-date so we EOL'd the EVM in order to promote the proper solutions customers should be using. The TRF7970A *DEVICE* is absolutely not subject to that!!
