low power RF for measure distance

HI every one 

in my project i need measure distance my robot from 4 static point ( distance 1-4 m ) , my idea use RF transmitter and receiver ( transmitter on fix point and receiver on my robot ) but i had problem with 

dimension and must be very tight , 

so i didn't familiar with TI RF 

is it possible read RF transmitters and measure each distance with 1 receiver?

can introduce me some product and solution for this measurement distance ?

    Locating with RF is fairly tricky. In addition you have to take into account reflections etc. You would need at least 4 receivers since you normally want to be able to calculate the angle. We don't have a out of the box solution for this.

    do you other solution for this ? i a system that assembled in hand like watch  and must be measure distance from transmitter chip (4th)  this transmitter must be small (prefer 20*20 mm) and isn't  settle in direct line to receiver .
