CC2652R: Can firmware for the M0 be loaded

I need to find a device to support a proprietary PHY - DSSS with 64 chip code length. The CC2642R architecture looks like it could do that so long as I can program the M0. Is that possible now (e.g. by configuring to run code from flash) or on a near future compatible device?

Hi Andy,

The M0 can not be programmed by the user, only with pre-compiled patches released by TI.

Hi Edvard,

Thanks for the response - not the answer I wanted, but now I know to look elsewhere. This is something that TI should consider providing on a future member of the family.

Andy,

It is a conscious design choice done for the CC13xx/CC26xx family. Whether this changes or not for future device families I cannot comment on.
