RF430FRL152HEVM: Bundle Kit and Capability

Part Number: RF430FRL152HEVM

Hello,

I have two questions I was hoping to have answered. First I am looking at buying the FRL-SENS-TRF bundle so I can have the sensor suit and sensor hub, is this typically the best way to go if I want to test a custom implementation of the RF430FRL152HEVM chip?

Second I see the input pins for the ADC and some of the other pins are labeled I/O. Is there a pin on this chip that can generate a signal that the sensor can use as a source? Say like a square wave or sine wave as an output. I am interested in creating an inductive sensor and need a varying current to create a time dependent magnetic field that will induce a current in another loop and can be read back in by the 152H. Is this something I could potentially do with this chip?

Regards,

Ted
