hi,I have the following question :

     The Angle Of Arrivel 2.4GHz BOOSTXL-AOA(MCU035 Rev.A)does the array antenna have relevant design parameters or test parameters such as efficiency, gain, directionality, etc.If so, can you attach a link?

    These performance parameters have not been published for the AoA antennas, simply because they are not vital for the AoA calculation. We may post this on the web in the future.

    I know.But when it comes to environmental constraints,I need to design a new antenna.So I want to know how different array antenna affect the angle of arrival θ?Will it affect the positioning accuracy?And does AOA have precise positioning requirements for array antenna?

  • Hi Zhiwei,

    As we are only using the phase information, the antenna performance itself is not critical for AoA.

    To do the calculation you need to have control on the distance between the antennas, I would recommend using the same as we have in our reference design. Also keep in mind that you need to have exactly the same length of the RF traces going to the antennas to avoid any additional phase shift.
