CC8530: Slave volume control issue

Hi

I'm using CC8530 on my board.

MIC is protocol master and Speaker is protocol slave. and Speaker's CC8530 is host control mode.

How could I change remote volume in slave protocol ?

I already tried to change volume by using VC_SET_VOLUME(EHIF funtion) in slave protocol.

and then I tried to check volume value by using VC_GET_VOLUME. but value did not change.

Is there some way to control remote volume in slave protocol?

Please give me details.

    Hi,

    To make sure I understand, you want to set the output volume on the slave remotely? Not setting microphone input volume from the slave?

    Can you send the ppwcfg files and what EHIF commands you send (especially NWM_ACH_SET_USAGE and VC_SET_VOLUME)?

    Hi !

    Sorry for the delay. Yes, I want to change output volume on the slave remotely.

    I send VC_SET_VOLUME command and I use VC_SET_VOLUME(0x00, 0x00, 0xff, 0x10)

    to set 0xff10.

    But it didn't work. So I used RC_SET_DATA( 0x11, 0x00,0x00,0x02,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00,0x00) to increase Output volume on the slave.

    But problem was volume increased limit high to 00.

    when I use RC_SET_DATA to decrease Output volume on the slave. volume changed to FC00 ( lowest value).

    So, how to control the RC_SET_DATA FUNCTION to increase or decrease volume just 2 dB?

    I sent friend request, please check. 

    and please give me details about my problem.
