Hello,

The GUI software only works once in a while, but usually just crashes when I press "Connect to TRF7970ABP + MSP430G2553". I usually set the interface device selection, target device selection, and I pick the Port (in my computer COM 8), however right when I press connect, the entire software freezes and stops functioning.

I am currently using Windows 10 and I have tried to uninstall and redownload the file, which did not help. What can I do to fix this?

Hello Mehzabin,

That is unusual, I have a Win 10 PC and have never had such an issue. Few questions.

1) Did you flash the correct binary from this download: www.ti.com/.../sloc346
2) Have you tried running the GUI as an Admin?
3) Can you try running the GUI in compatibility mode for Windows 7?
4) Can you try and move the LaunchPad COM Port to a lower number, such as 3 or 4? (long shot but that affected an older EVM so...)
