RF430F5978: Part marking on device - specifically date code interpretation

We're tracking a potential defect and it seems to follow devices marked "83" "1A"

Can someone interpret these markings for us? I searched for any clues on package marking for this PVQFN-N64 package, but didn't find anything.

Hello Gerry,

the symbolization on the device should have 2 lines. First line starts with "TI" followed by a group of 3 characters.
The second line should have first a group of 4 characters followed by "G4".

In the 3 character group the date is coded.
The 4 character group is the LOT code. I assume the data you provided ("83" "1A") represents the 4 character group.
