Hi,

We are working on 1352P launch XL it has inbuilt power amplifier, how to enable that power amplifier? either through any external power supply to DIO28 pin or can we do through it from firmware.

Hi Arun,

It can be enabled through firmware. You can test this via SmartRF Studio 7. There is a checkbox that enables the high output power PA, and when you select it you can see what parameter gets updated in the radio commands (will be indicated in green)

Can you please explain in brief how to enable Power amplifier ?

Our target range for BLE is 100meters, but we are able to get 60 meter in Line of sight. But with Tx power of 20 dbm ( enabled power amplifier) it should meet our requirement right?
