Part Number: SENSOR-CONTROLLER-STUDIO
Hello,
I am experiencing the same issue described in https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/sub-1-ghz/f/156/p/743073/2743838#2743838 . (Cannot execute the Sensor Controller Studio program after first installing it).
I performed all the solutions offered in that thread until I got to the last one (adding settings to the Windows registry) -
-------
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Texas Instruments\Sensor Controller Studio\Preferences]
"DirUserExamples"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/examples"
"DirUserProjects"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/projects"
"DirUserBoardDefs"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/board_defs"
"DirUserResourceDefs"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/resource_defs"
"DirUserProcDefs"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/proc_defs"
"DirUserOsalDefs"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/osal_defs"
"DirUserLogs"="C:/ti/scs_user_dir/logs"
-------
I tried pasting the above text (with and without the first line) to a file and saved it as "scs_relocate_user_dirs.reg".
Double clicking it led to the following error: "the specified file is not a registry script. You can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor".
I opened the Windows registry and clicked Import and selected the file, which led to the error: "The specified file is not a registry file. You can import only registry scripts".
Can you please assist me?
Thank you,
Peleg
