Guys,

I have a working Z-Stack implementation for the CC2652 chip.

What shall be my next steps if I'd like to activate the Bluetooth (both classic+le) and prioritize them with the DMM?

Any help is greatly appreciated because I've started to read somewhere, but does seem a bit overcomplicated (compared to the simplicity of the question).

Perhaps choose the configuration which matches yours (zc, zr, zed), and use the corresponding dmm project. You can then replace its application files with those in your Zigbee project.

Is it possible to play as zb coordinator and ble central role in parallel?

In general, each of those roles would prefer to have 100% (or very close to 100%) access to the radio (since both would have RX on all the time).

So in the general case, this combination is not ideal. Please see the limitations here: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/content/simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk_4_10_00_78/docs/dmm/dmm_user_guide/html/dmm/performance.html#protocol-stack-limitations

For some given use case, it may be possible for either of the roles to perform successfully with <100% access to radio, but you'd probably need to evaluate this on a case-by-case basis.

What would be my best option if I need ZBC, and BLE central on my custom board?

It is still in planning phase so it does not hurt if I could not use what I have planned (cc2652).

Shall I use two separate SoCs, with 2 separated antennas? Then each stack will handle on their own if there are crossfading or wrong rx due to the other tx?

Or two SoCs with a shared antenna and some sznchronization?

I believe as either throughput and TX power increases, this will be more a question of which protocol should have access to the 2.4 GHz band/channel.

If you need more detailed information about this, please create a new post ("Ask a Related Question") inquiring specifically for board design and other considerations for coexistence.

We use two separate SoCs with 2 separated antennas. Basically, Zigbee and BLE stack has MAC and network retires. Also, Zigbee uses DSSS and BLE uses frequency hopping so we don’t do anything special to deal with interference between Zigbee coordinator network and BLE central role.
