I am planning to use CC2531 for my forthcoming product. However when I tried procuring the EMK I was informed that there is a ECCN associated with CC2531 and I could not procure the same. I am not sure if its due to AES feature?
Please advise on:
1) Can CC2531 ICs and Evaluation Module Kit can be ordered from India for product design and deployment in India?
2) Farnell India seems to support the EMK, but the prices are very costly compared to US options. Are there any other sources in India/Asia from where we can procure?
3) Are there any underlying restrictions for the usage of 2.4 GHz based CC2531 in India? This is ascertain any long term production procurement logistics related to CC2531
Appreciate if the community can help resolve this roadblock.
