CC2530 Radio Encoding and Decoding Time

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2530

Hello,

can anyone tell me, how much time is taken for encoding and decoding a message for the CC2530 Radiochip?

By encoding time, I mean the time it takes for the radio chip to encode and transform a part of the message (preamble inclusive SFD). to electromagnetic waves.

By decoding time, I mean the time it takes for the radio chip on the receiver side to transform and decode the message (preamble inclusive SFD) from electromagnetic waves to binary data.

What I'm trying to find out, if there is any other elapsed time than the propagation time of the message between a SFD-Timestamp of Timer2 on the Sender and an SFD-Timestamp of the Receiver.

Can I assume, that the sender and receiver SFD-Timestamp only differ in less than 1 µs for 2m distance?

Thank you
