  • From the PurePath Commander help documents:

    Simple RF Test

Perform an RF test with a continuous or modulated signal. Frequency, TX power, number of samples and RSSI threshold is configurable. The receiver measures the RSSI value. The RSSI value shown is the average after the 5 lowest and 5 highest samples have been removed. The test passed if the average is above the given RSSI threshold.

There are three ways of running an RF test:

      • Fully automatic (examples in configuration fileprod_test_simplerf_auto.ppwptc. This test assumes that a TESTER is present in the system.
      • TX only (configuration file prod_test_simplerf_tx.ppwptc. This test does not require a TESTER. The result can be verified by a spectrum analyzer or the RXTX panel. The operator is required to confirm PASS/FAIL.
      • RX only (configuration file prod_test_simplerf_rx.ppwptc. This test does not require a TESTER. Stimuli may be provided by a signal generator or another RF device. It is also possible to use the RXTX-panel.

I bolded the relevant bullet point for your test. How are you providing stimuli for the device to receive?
