CC1352R: One collector and many sensors issue

Hi,

My customers are using CC1352R and TI 15.4-Stack to develop their product. They are using custom board in Beacon Enabled Mode and they make network with one collector and six sensors. Software is based on the following example code.

SDK：simplelink_cc13x2_26x2_sdk v3.2
Collector
<SDK>\examples\rtos\CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL\ti154stack\collector_2_4g
Sensor
<SDK>\examples\rtos\CC1352R1_LAUNCHXL\ti154stack\sensor_2_4g

They are currently experiencing problems with this system. When the collector is reset, some of the sensor cannot be reconnected. Also the time to reconnect is very long, sometimes needing 20 minutes. (Radio environment is good.)

Can you tell me how to solve it? Does anyone have any information?

Can they reproduce this issue using LaunchPads?

What kind of modifications have they made to the applications?

Hi Elin,

Thank you for your reply. I don't have many LaunchPads, so I can't reproduce this issue. First we will try to increase the SDK version.

Hi Rei,

When the collector is reset, the sensors go into orphan mode. If you feel it takes too long to rejoin after the collector is back online, you can try setting a lower value for orphan scan back off interval (ORPHAN_BACKOFF_INTERVAL set in config.h).
