TRF7962A: Read Single Block

To: TI Support Team

Customer has a problem of Read_Single_Block operation (ISO15693) with some TRF7962A ICs.
If they swapped each IC, the a bad board became a good and a good board was a bad.
Therefore, we are afraid that the IC itself is any failure.The trouble is data error (abnormal bits) in FIFO.
Attached both cases, OK-450D61 and NG-450D61.

Please let me know if we made any mistakes on the operation.

    As one of the corrective actions,  we found the sypmton is improved by sending addtiobal dummy read in IRQ_Status_Read.

    Coud you answer the following questions.
    1. Why does the addtional dummy read improve the ympton?
    2. Do you have any negative impact to semding the dummy clock?
    2. Do youave any corrective action except for sending the dummy clock?
