TRF7970A: How to differentiate between NFC Mobile data vs NFC Card data

Part Number: TRF7970A

Hello,

We have designed an NFC reader. We would now like to validate the PAN received from the NFC data.

It is possible to accomplish this using NFC chip on the card as our reader receives the card data.

But how should we distinguish between NFC data received from mobile phones. The PAN here is encoded.

1) Is there a way to figure out if the data received is from Mobile or physical Card??

2) How to validate the Mobile NFC data

Thank you for your help

  • Hello Harsheen,

the abbreviation PAN was new for me in the context of NFC but was identified as "Primary Account Number". This question is application specific and is not direct related to the function of our device. In this case I am not able to answer your question because it is beyond the support we can give.

    Best Regards,
