I need to send data via UART from RPi to the launchXL and i need the launchXL to transmit that data..Is there any training video for this kind of communication?

Since this is UART it should not matter if a RPi or something else is used. From a HW perspective, ensure that voltage level on the UART interface is within the valid voltage range of the LP. 

Okay thank you, will try them out! Another doubt, in the training material for collector and sensor example a collector.syscfg file is being used to change the working frequency and other such parameters but I have downloaded the current SDK and I do not see the file when i open it in CCS. Have they changed the architecture of the code from what is there in the training material?

The example text is common for CC13x0 and CC13x2. The latter uses syscfg, the former uses features.h etc to configure the stack. See the documentation here: dev.ti.com/.../node

Another doubt, So in the sensor and collector example where do I edit the data which the sensor device is sending?

Yes I have. I reckon I have to do something ion the lines of the example "adding a generic sensor". But I cant understand how the sensor module can 100bytes data via UART  (probably generate an interrupt on receiving the data) from an external board and then just transmit it to the collector module. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
