LAUNCHXL-CC1312R1: How to set and read time using RTC on board

Please note figure 9-2 in the CC1312R datasheet. The MCU is not on in sleep meaning that the time can't be read.

From your questions it sounds like you are trying to debug something, is that the case? 

Thank you for your quick response. I want to keep track of the time when the tasks are in sleep. Since the CC1312R has an RTC on board, I assumed you can keep track of time even while it is in low power mode (in sleep mode for most of its life). I want to be able to see the tracked timestamps in my logs. Yes for debugging, but essentially I want to be able to set and read the time. Are there any examples or modules that deal with this?

I looked at that example, but I want the real time clock on the board to do the work, not having to set a tick function up and increment ticks constantly.

I used the example for the User Guide but the time is not incrementing. Do I need to enable the clock somewhere?
