Compiling a project for programming CC2500EM

I am new to this whole area and was wondering how I would go about compiling a project. I have downloaded and installed the IAR Embedded Workbench and am wondering how I create a project and which .c and .h files to add to a project. Also, how do I export to a .hex file so I can load the code onto the antenna via the SmartRF04EB board?

    We would recommend you to look at the SmartRF 04 "CC1100/CC1150DK & CC2500/CC2550DK Development Kit" Softrware examples found at this link.

    This will help you to use the micro controller which is on the board and access the radio.
