I'm currently researching a new line of products that will use 6lowpan or some variation thereof for wireless communication, and as I am evaluating the basic premises of this project I am using what I have, which amounts to an assortment of TIs CC2650, CC2652, CC1310 and CC1352 sensor tag and lanchpad dev kits. I also have, from a previous project that unfortunate got tossed out, a CC2650MODA sample, which being precertified and a drop in module really helps in selling the project up the chain.
Now, my question is simple, are there, or will there be such precertified SoMs for the newer, more capable controllers? In my case the CC1352 is the one being used as it allows asserting both 2.4 and subghz portions of the project, even though they will likely be completely separate in the end product versions, and I'm posting this on the sub ghz forum because that is the main target radio band I'm interested on currently, although I would love for the 2.4g controllers to also get the SoM treatment.
Regards,
Carlos
