Hi,

For one of our examples, we use your TI15.4 Stack. On CC1310 we run the sensor example and on CC1312 the collector example. The sensor is defined as a sleepy device and the collector is defined as non-sleepy. We are using FH mode. The question I am interested in is whether LBT is used in FH mode? I have read that CSMA is used instead and I wonder if this is the same? For a larger duty cycle, the regulation requires the use of LBT+AFA and I wonder if this is included in this case?

Hi,

I believe that if you use the EU band (863 MHz) LBT will be used instead of CSMA/CA. This is implemented according to EU regulations.

Which regulation are you referring to?

below is our configuration.

From the information on the website, I understand that it is use LBT in Beacon mode and CSMA in Non-beacon mode. What about FH mode? Where could I check this? Is there any documentation with a newer version of the TI15.4 Stack?

Sorry for the delay in response, even in FH mode for all the Phys in the EU band (863 MHz) LBT is used for communication.
