CC1352R: GPTM Sources/Power Saving

Part Number: CC1352R

Dear TI Expert,

I'm new to SimpleLink and the CC1352, but have been studying code examples, the GPTM driver, and the CC13X2 Tech Ref Manual. I want to use a General Purpose Timer to measure the frequency of an external signal (0 to 100 hz), but I don't see how to control the clock source for the timer?  I need this measurement to be done continuously, but I also need to let the processor go into standby mode.  Active mode + idle mode is too much current for my application.  Does the GP timer have to use the system clock?  Is there a clock source for the GPTM timer that will allow the processor to go into standby mode?

Thanks!

Brett
