Hello Team,

Posting this on behalf of my customer:

I purchased the CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL board and ran the example "pinStandby_CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL_nortos_ccs" project.

I measured the current consumption using EnergyTrace (ET mode).

The problem is that during sleep() the current consumption is in the range of 1-2mA, instead of being around 1uA (CPU in standby mode).

can you tell why the current consumption is higher than expected during sleep()?

Hi Renan,

Just to get more clarification on their setup, please check if they have set the jumpers on their LaunchPad as described in Section 7 of App Note SWRA478 Measuring CC13xx and CC26xx current consumption (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra478d/swra478d).

As described in Section 12.5.7 (Hardware Troubleshooting - High Sleep Power Consumption) of App Note SWRA640 CC13xx/CC26xx Hardware Configuration and PCB Design Considerations (https://www.ti.com/lit/an/swra640f/swra640f.pdf), if the debugger is connected then the current consumption will be higher as the chip will not be able to go to into STANDBY mdoe.
