CC2652R: Project_zero not discoverd by BLE Scan

I flashed my CC2652R1 with the precompiled project_zero_unsecure_app.hex and I cand See it in the scan result list on my Android device.

If I compile myself a project zero (no modifications) and flash it to the Launcpad I do not see it in Scan result list.

Is there a difference between the two that affects scanning?

Using CCS11.2.0 and simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_6_10_00_29

Hi krs,

The precompiled hex image includes the BIM application whereas the CCS project does not, and this is critical for the device startup procedure. You will need to load the off-chip BIM hex image before loading the project_zero, making sure to not erase or overwrite the BIM in the process. There are further instructions in the project_zero README, BLE Enhanced OAD SimpleLink Academy Lab, and OAD section of the BLE5-Stack User's Guide.
