CC1312R: RF Temperature Compensation: How to set XOSC Single Point Calibration ?

Part Number: CC1312R
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2652RSIP, , CC2652RB

Hello.

I am trying to set  "RF Temperature Compensation" inside the .syscfg over "Device Configuration", but  i do not understand the following error message:

"No XOSC_HF calibration temperature measurement provided!"

WHat is the data i need to provide to this field in order to perform a proper calibration? is there any document or information available?

This Field requires a number or array of data? (and which are the units?)

Thank you in advance

Best regards

Andres

  • Hi Andres,

The RF temperature compensation is fully functional in the CC2652RSIP, PSIP and BAW device (CC2652RB). These are characterized in house and the constants required for calculating the compensation coefficients are written into the FCFG of each device. But for devices such as CC1312R, the crystal itself is considered to be pretty stable over a range of temperatures and this feature of RF temperature compensation in software is not implemented.
