CC1311P3: Boost Mode Setting in RF Studio 7

Hi,

Can I enable/disable boost mode for CC1311P3 in RF Studio 7? I have checked the VDDR voltage which is around 1.7V when it is operating both at PA mode and none PA mode, so I figure the boost mode is not enabled.

Can I enable the boost mode of the chip somewhere in RF Studio 7?

Boostmode is enabled if you select the 14 dBm setting, disabled for all other power modes.

Thanks for your reply. Based on the datasheet, VDDR should be increasing to 1.95V in boost mode, but it was still 1.7V when I selected 14 dBm. This is with CC1311P3. With CC1352P1 and CC1352P7, this is normal, VDDR is 1.95V when it is selected 14 dBm. Please double-check, thanks.

Hi Evan,

Which version of SmartRF Studio 7 are you using. I am able to reproduce your issue in 2.25, but not in 2.26 (the latest version). Can you try to use SmartRF Studio 7 2.26?
