CC1310: 5MHz CLK frequency on DIO port

Hi Team,

I would like to know if the DIO port of CC1310 can be configured as an SPI CLK. The requirement is to set-up a periodic timer with GPTimer0A and set the loadVal to 4 to have a frequency of 4MHz. However, the output can only generate 50kHz at most.

Is this caused by the extra time of interrupt and callback? Or the timer is not setup correctly? Is it even possible for CC1310 to toggle the port at such a high frequency?

Could you give some more background? Do you want to make a bit banged SPI (in addition to the 2 SPI modules on the chip and the SPI ability in the sensor controller)?

I have already used up the 2SPI modules on the chip. I don't know if its possible to use the sensor controller to implement a third one, because I think using the SPI in the sensor controller still involves the SPI initialization of GPIO ports on the chip, which will fail as it does not allow a initialization of the third SPI interface. Please correct me if I am wrong.
