CC1125: Transparent serial mode unexpected behaviour

Part Number: CC1125

Hi,

When using a pair of BOOSTXL-CC1125 evaluation boards connected in transparent serial mode, I noticed what appears to be a clock signal (or some other artifact) being modulated onto the output of the receiver (GPIO0) under certain circumstances, mostly when the received signal has a high or low duty cycle.

Experiment setup :

Image of clean output pulse in relation to input pulse:

Reduced duty cycle and appearance of additional artifacts on output signal:

Increase pulse width a bit and artifacts disappear:

Almost 100% duty cycle and artifacts begin to reappear

Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong? There is little documentation about the use of transparent serial mode in the reference manual
