SMARTRFTM-STUDIO: SMATRF STUDIO 7 can not open decive control panel

Hi Tdy,

It's probably easiest to get the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 working first; you can then use the XDS110 on that board to connect the LPSTK-CC1352R afterwards.

Are the jumpers on the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 all connected as in the image below?

Maybe I didn't express myself clearly, but I actually used 3 pieces of hardware ：LPSTK-CC1352R 、 LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4、LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2.

 LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4、LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 connected to the computer via USB. But they don't work properly with SmartRF Studio 7, as I mentioned in my first post.

Are the jumpers on the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 all connected as in the image.

The LaunchPad should work out of the box if the LaunchPad is connected and the jumpers are mounted correctly; have you previously used this board?

If you use UniFlash: https://dev.ti.com/uniflash/ and only plug in the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4, is the device detected automatically?

 I just got a few days and have already run a few programs with LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4.

Are you running any other software that might be connecting to the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4?

Please try the following in UniFlash once the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 board is connected and you've clicked 'Start'.

1. Go to 'Settings and Utilities'.
2. Erase 'All Unprotected Sectors' of the flash.
3. Close UniFlash.
4. Disconnect/reconnect the board and try the device again with SmartRF Studio.

For the LPSTK-CC1352R, you have to remove all of the headers of the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 board in order to use the XDS110 with the LPSTK-CC1352R (you cannot use the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 at the same time).

Please post a photo of your setup if possible.

If you select Memory -> Read Target Device in UniFlash, does it produce any errors?

Also, have you tried a different USB port on your PC (just to rule out a driver issue)?

Clarifying this information makes it easier to describe to our SW team.

Regarding the LPSTK-CC1352R, have you tried removing all of the headers on the LAUNCHXL-CC2640R2 host so that you are only using the XDS110 debugger to control the LPSTK-CC1352R? Please double-check the wiring as in the documentation:

You may have to erase the flash on the LPSTK-CC1352R (as explained in the documentation).

Please can you try reinstalling SmartRF Studio in a location not in "Program Files" (for example, in a folder C:\ti\ ) and reconnect your board(s)?

If the error message is correct, it looks like the file XDS110c2.dat is failing to be opened.

I reinstalled SmartRF Studio with the following installation path:

C:\ti\SmartRF Tools\SmartRF Studio 7

When connecting the LAUNCHXL-CC1352P-4 via USB cable, the device still cannot be found。

What is the result when using the LPSTK-CC1352R after this step?

It is difficult to reproduce this on our end with it just saying "Unknown", unfortunately.

The typical causes are needing to clear the flash if the device has already been programmed before, or the installation folder.

Please can you clarify exactly what/how these boards have been used before trying to communicate using SmartRF Studio? The more information we have, the easier it is to try and solve this.

The error message is the same as before.

I want to use these boards to run the TI 15.4 network and they have been running successfully.
So I would like to use SmartRF Studio 7 to see the RF metrics of the devices.

• Please upload the .dat file that is reported in the error message(s).

The .dat file seems to show that the files being accessed correctly for the CC1352R, so it is strange that the error message given is related to "file open failed".

Please also provide the .dat file for the CC1352P board as well.

And the CC1352P is also still successfully recongnised in CCS and you can flash new programs to it using CCS?

Apologies but as there are two separate boards with separate error messages in SmartRF Studio it can get confusing without clarification.

I confirm the above information.

1.I only have one computer running Windows 10 right now, so there's no way to try it on other computers.

2.I confirmed that the UniFlash I used was downloaded and installed instead of using the web version. 

3.In the following post I have correctly used UniFlash to erase Flash.
