LPSTK-CC1352R: Dual Mode Tx and Rx

Hi Surya,

It depends on whether you "just" want to use a BLE PHY (along with a Sub-1 GHz PHY) or whether you need to use the BLE stack.

If you just need to use a BLE PHY, the dual-mode example is the correct starting point. Addressing your questions:

1. It will be whatever the default PHY settings are when you import the example; you can check when you open the example - if you select the arrow by each frequency band you can see that multiple PHYs are selected (there is not one default in this example as its aim is to demonstrate switching between PHYs). If you only want to receive one, then you can deselect the unwanted PHYs.
2. I'm not sure what you mean by "receive RF data alone" in this context - please can you clarify? 
3.  The rfDualModeRX/TX example summaries should give you some information on this: the Dual Mode RX example configures a BLE and proprietary radio mode to receive packets. The proprietary receiver waits for the first packet. After the first proprietary packet is successfully received, the BLE driver waits for the next BLE packet. The proprietary packet received is then compared to the BLE packet.
4. Click "Clear" next to the PHY list:

then click the down arrow and select the 2.5 kbps PHY to add it to this example:

If you need to use the BLE stack, you will need to use the Dynamic Multi-protocol Manager for this. Linked is the relevant SimpleLink Academy introductory training for this:
