CC1310: Sub-1GHz high speed, point-to-point, backhaul meeting ETSI EN 300 220

Part Number: CC1310

I'm planning to use the CC1310 as a backhaul using 240kbps DSSS mode.  This is ok for US in the 915MHz band and FCC compliance as described in swra591.pdf.

Does TI have a high data rate (>200kbps) point to point solution that meets ETSI EN 300 220?

The goal is to have a single platform for domestic and international sales.   Thanks!

  • Hi Wayne,

Please provide feedback to the following for more clarification.

Is it required to use the same PHY for both FCC and ETSI region or is it acceptable to use two different PHY's?

What is the use case for the device? ETSI might have different requirement for different applications.

What do you aim for? Long range? High data rate?

    Regards,

    HG

It is ok for different PHYs since we can have software per application / country.

The use case is for a repeater - in this case the original data is a BLE sensor network.

Requirements are for low latency streaming.  ~10 packets per second / 32 end devices

The end devices are handheld surgical tools - data collection only.
