CC1125: Some confusions about the modulation of CC1125

Hi,

I am an FAE intern and I want to know the details of the modulation of CC1125.

Does it use IQ modulator or use other modulator but illustrate as I signals and Q signals in diagram?

The IQ modulator looks like quadrature amplitude modulation, are they the same?

Hi CC1125 is performing the modulation directly in the PLL (in-loop modulation). It is not using IQ signals and upconverting mixers.

Hi, thanks for your help, but I also have a question.

Why there was an I and a Q in the functional block diagram if it didn't use any IQ signals?

IQ is used for demodulation. The signals named I and Q going from the synthesizer to the mixer are the local oscillators for the mixers.
