Require a Switch for Frequency Switching (0 - 1GHz)

Hi,

I want to switch between two frequencies signals using a switch or an IC, whose output will be connected to MCU clock pin (voltage level: 0.5V). The switch will need to controlled by a GPIO (0-3.3V).

Please suggest me a suitable solution for switching the Frequency Signals of range 0-1 GHz.

You have, as far as I see, not written which MCU you want to switch the clock to? This could be relevant to what to suggest.

Thanks for your reply. The frequency will go to STM32H747 MCU IC. Please suggest th Switch based on this MCU.

Hello Aakash,

The TMUX136 would be your best bet for a 1GHz clock at 0.5V. There will be an extra channel in the device. It's best practice to terminate those to ground through a matching (typically 50ohm) resistor just to protect from any unwanted noise coupling to your used signal.

Hi Rami,

Thanks for your reply. We need a 3: 1 switch for single Ended signal of frequency range of 10kHz- 100MHz range. Below is the block for our requirement.

Can you suggest a solution for the same?

Hey Aakash,
The TS5A3357 would be the best device for this. Assuming you only need to support up to 5V signals.
