CC1311P3: Shutdown current vs temperature

Part Number: CC1311P3

Can I have the shutdown current vs temperature characteristics of CC1311P3?

  • Hi,

We have this specified as 115 nA_typ for Shutdown (No clocks running, no retention) in the datasheet at room temperature.

The worst case shutdown current should occur at the highest temperature.

    Regards,

       Richard

  • Hi,

To follow up on Richard's reply, I'll need to replot the characterisation data to find the performance over temperature. Please allow until the end of the week for this.

    Regards,

    Zack

  • Hi Zack,

Thanks for your efforts. Looking forward to the plot.

    Regards

    Kritank

  • Hi Kritank,

Apologies for the delay - we haven't forgotten about this and I am working on this now, so will provide this shortly.

    Regards,

    Zack

  • Hi Zack,

Gentle reminder, regarding the replot of the characterization data to find the performance over temperature.

  • Hi Kritank,

I needed to clarify a point with our Validation team before sharing.

The following data is at 3.6V:

Temperature Current - Mean all cond. [nA]
    -40 92.9
    25 115
    125 2619

However, it is important to note that the maximum operating temperature of the CC1311P3 is 105C.

What I wanted to clarify before sharing is that there is an exponential increase in Current vs Temperature after the maximum operating temperature, so the expected current consumption at 105C should be significantly lower. I cannot find characterisation data below 125C (but greater than 25C) for this device - I have raised this for future characterisation efforts.

    Regards,

    Zack
