LAUNCHXL-CC1352P: Possible/How to run open-thread example code on P1-launchbads?

Hi,

We have quite a few P1 variation of LAUNCHXL-CC1352P on hand and would like to test the Open-Thread example projects on them, but there doesn't seem to be a good way to do this. Open-thread example projects are not listed under P1 launchpad in resource explorer. If we export P2 based projects, then try to change RF design to P1, we got errors like the following:

There doesn't seem to be a way to change board from P2 to P1 in syscfg.

Do we have to order a bunch of P2 launchpads and then wait for them to come in before we can test open thread example projects?
