CCS Version: 12.4.0.00007

SDK Version:simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_10_02_23

When I used the off-chip oad routine, I turned on Turbo OAD in sysconfig and selected the historical file as shown:

But when compiling, the dim file will report an error. It seems to be a problem with the execution of the python script. What should I do, as shown in the figure:

Hi Yolande,

I can observe the same thing. I have however tested with the 5.40SDK, and the script does not fail there. I am checking when the error was introduced.

At present, the normal OAD time is too long, and incremental OAD seems to be necessary.

The script works in the 7.40 version of the SDK, which is due to be released in February.

We currently have no workaround.

Hi Yolande,

In case you want to try this out before TI releases their SDK fixes, I got the Turbo OAD image building working in my environment. I believe something went wrong with the SDK packaging and some files and project configuration options are missing in simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_10_02_23 Turbo OAD projects.

Steps to fix build:

1. Confirm that you have turbo_oad.c and turbo_oad.h included in your project (<WORKSPACE_DIR>/sensor_oad_offchip_secure_CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos7_ticlang\application\sensor\oad\turbo_oad). If not, you can add the files to your project from the SDK: C:\ti\simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_10_02_23\source\ti\ti154stack\common\oad\CC13X2_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL\turbo_oad

2. Add the build preprocessor directives to your project: Project properties -> Build -> Arm Compiler -> Advanced Options -> Command Files. Add the following file: "<WORKSPACE_DIR>\sensor_oad_offchip_secure_CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos7_ticlang\Release\syscfg\ti_154stack_toad_build_config.opts"

3. Add the following include option: Project properties -> Build -> Arm Compiler -> Include Options. Add the directory: "<WORKSPACE_DIR>\sensor_oad_offchip_secure_CC1312R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos7_ticlang\application\sensor\oad\turbo_oad"

You should now be able to build the project with Turbo OAD enabled without errors. Note that if you have previously built your "Old Image", you must remove and rebuild it since it does not contain the necessary Turbo OAD image header fields in the image (hence the error you encountered).
